Screenprints
A series of images I was commissioned to create for a screenprint exhibition at the great Leia Bell's gallery in Salt Lake City, USA. Like everybody else, I was obsessed with HBO's masterpiece The Wire at the time...
This was the first series of prints I made in my own screenprinting studio, which I built back in 2009. I probably shouldn't admit this, but I realised after I'd set up the print shop that I had actually got even more of a buzz out of the technical challenges of designing and building such things as the automatic vacuum-table, the drying racks etc, than designing and printing the posters themselves!
